Ingredients

The base

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 large orange, cut into ¼” slices

The spices

  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 4 pieces star anise
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice

The alcohol

  • cups spiced rum

Instructions

  1. Add apple cider, cranberry juice, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks to the crock pot.
  2. Place star anise, whole cloves, and whole allspice in a spice ball and add to the pot.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 2-3 hours.
  4. Add spiced rum to the mixture.
  5. Remove the fruit and spices from the pot before serving.
