Instructions
- Boil beef with salt, pepper, and chopped onions until tender, reserving the stock.
- Brown the beef in oil for about 5-10 minutes, then set aside.
- Blend onions, tomatoes, garlic, parsley, celery, thyme, basil, and scotch bonnet pepper.
- Pour the blended mixture and tomato puree into the saucepan, add spices, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, then return the browned beef and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
- Stir frequently and add beef stock or water as needed to prevent sticking.
- Add green onions and adjust seasonings before serving.
