Ingredients

The cashews

  • 1 cup raw cashews

Optional oil or butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Spread cashews in a single layer on the tray and roast for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and chop or store in an airtight container.
  4. For stove method, heat cashews in a skillet over medium heat for 2-5 minutes until browned, stirring frequently.
  5. For microwave method, spread cashews on a plate and microwave in 1-minute intervals until lightly golden.
