Ingredients

The nuts

  • 2 cups whole, raw cashews

The coating

  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the raw cashews on the baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup, tossing to coat evenly.
  3. Sprinkle sesame seeds and salt over the cashews and toss again.
  4. Roast the cashews in the oven for about 10 minutes, tossing every 3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  5. Once golden brown, remove from the oven and let them rest for at least 10 minutes to become crunchy.
  6. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
