Ingredients

Coffee Jelly

  • 1 packet gelatin
  • tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup very hot strong coffee

Milk Tea

  • 3 cups hot water
  • 3 bags black tea
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Bloom gelatin in water for 3 to 5 minutes, then stir in sugar and hot coffee until dissolved.
  2. Transfer mixture to a dish and refrigerate until solid, at least 3 hours.
  3. Brew black tea in hot water and let it cool before refrigerating.
  4. Once jelly is firm and tea is cold, mix tea with sugar and cream to taste.
  5. Cut jelly into cubes and add to a glass, filling it about a third of the way.
  6. Pour in the milk tea and serve with a spoon or boba straw.
