Creamy Stove Top Macaroni & Cheese

Instructions
- Rinse the dry pasta in a colander and let it drain.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the uncooked pasta, milk, salt, mustard powder, and nutmeg, then bring to a simmer over medium heat while stirring frequently.
- Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes, stirring often until the milk is absorbed and the pasta is cooked.
- Add the grated cheese to the pasta and stir until melted, then cover the saucepan and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
- Toast the bread crumbs in a dry skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the macaroni and cheese in bowls and sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs.
