Ingredients

The base

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • cup peanut butter
  • cup maple syrup

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup mix-ins (chocolate chips, coconut flakes, dried fruit, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and peanuts.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the peanut butter and maple syrup until warm, then whisk until combined.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the oat mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer and bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven, mix again to break up large pieces, allow to cool completely, then fold in your chosen mix-ins.
