The icing

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare the donut pan.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and whisk the wet ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill the donut pan with batter and bake for 10-11 minutes.
- Cool the donuts for 2 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
- For the icing, melt the brown sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan, then add vanilla and confectioners’ sugar.
- Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the icing and let set.
