Easy Pasta with Red Crab Sauce

Instructions
- Heat olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute.
- Lower the heat to medium and add crab meat, sautéing for 1-2 minutes.
- Optionally add a splash of wine to deglaze the pan after sautéing the crab.
- Add tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and basil, bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat.
- Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat while cooking the pasta.
- Boil salted water and cook pasta al dente according to package instructions, reserving ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Reheat the crab sauce and add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss the pasta with some sauce, then top with remaining sauce and garnish with parsley if desired.
