Ingredients

Seafood

  • 12 pieces mussels
  • 12 pieces littleneck clams
  • 8 large shrimp
  • 8 ounces crabmeat

Sauce and Seasonings

  • 16 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon parsley

Pasta

  • 12 ounces linguine

Instructions

  1. Wash the clams and mussels, discarding any that are open and won't close.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over high heat and add chopped garlic, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Sauté the seasonings for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add mussels, clams, and shrimp to the pan, cover, and steam for 8-10 minutes until the clams and mussels open.
  5. Start cooking the pasta around the same time as the seafood.
  6. Add marinara sauce and crabmeat to the seafood, mixing gently and reseasoning to taste.
  7. Add chopped parsley or basil before serving.
  8. Serve the seafood mixture over the pasta and enjoy.
