Instructions
- Clean the mussels and clams under cold water and refrigerate until needed.
- Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, typically around 10-11 minutes for al dente.
- In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil, garlic, basil, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about a minute.
- Add the scallops and shrimp to the pan and cook until almost done, then remove them from the pan.
- If using, add white wine to the pan to deglaze before adding the mussels and clams.
- Add the mussels and clams to the pan, cover, and cook for 5-6 minutes until they open.
- Return the shrimp and scallops to the pan, re-season if necessary.
- Serve the seafood mixture over the cooked pasta and enjoy.
