Ingredients

The pasta

  • 8 oz. fusilli pasta

The sauce

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ lb. scallops
  • ½ lb. shrimp
  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • to taste salt
  • 8 pieces cherry tomatoes
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and then add the olive oil.
  3. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the scallops and shrimp.
  4. Cook the seafood until half done, then add the mushrooms, white wine, chicken broth, and salt.
  5. Once the sauce is bubbling, add the cooked pasta and mix well.
  6. Stir in the cherry tomatoes, lemon juice, and parsley, then serve immediately.
