Ingredients

  • 1.25 lbs 95% lean ground beef, raw
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 carrot carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper
  • 4 oz mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

Instructions

  1. 1. Mince the carrot, onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper in a food processor.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat medium-high and brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. 3. Add the steak seasoning to the browned meat and mix well.
  4. 4. Stir in the minced vegetables and garlic, and cook for a few minutes.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to medium and add Worcestershire sauce and red wine vinegar, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Mix in the tomato sauce and tomato paste, then cover and simmer for 5 more minutes.
