Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat and cook the beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
- Transfer the beef to a bowl, leaving the fat in the pan.
- Reduce heat to medium and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until tender, about 6–8 minutes.
- Add the spices and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the stock, tomato purée, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, molasses, and the cooked beef.
- Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until thick and saucy, about 12–15 minutes.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the toasted rolls and serve with chips and pickles.
