Instructions
- 1. Roast the butternut squash by placing it on a baking sheet, drizzling with olive oil, and seasoning with salt and pepper. Roast at 400°F for 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 2. Caramelize the sliced red onions using your preferred method.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 500°F with a pizza stone inside.
- 4. Prepare your pizza dough, using whole wheat crust or store-bought if preferred.
- 5. Roll out the pizza crust and drizzle with olive oil.
- 6. Add minced garlic, roasted butternut squash, caramelized onions, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and chopped rosemary on top.
- 7. Transfer the pizza onto the hot pizza stone in the oven.
- 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
- 9. Let cool slightly, slice, and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.
