Skinny Blackberry Margarita

Ingredients

For one drink

  • 1 tablespoon sugar mixed with salt for rimming
  • ounces silver tequila
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons light agave nectar
  • ¼ cup blackberries
  • Ice
  • Additional lime wedges and berries for serving

For a Pitcher (5 drinks)

  • 8 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 8 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons light agave nectar
  • cups fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and salt for rimming the glass and prepare the glass.
  2. Muddle blackberries in the bottom of the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave with ice and shake well.
  5. Strain the mixture into the rimmed glass over the ice.
  6. Garnish with remaining blackberries and lime wedges.
