Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions, stopping 2 minutes early.
- Add the broccoli and bring to a boil, checking for doneness.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli in a strainer.
- In the same pot, sauté the garlic with oil or broth until fragrant.
- Whisk in the broth, wine, lemon juice, salt, and flour, allowing to thicken.
- Add the pasta and broccoli back into the pot and mix well.
- Incorporate the vegan sausage and Parmesan if using, and serve.
