Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Butter

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over high heat.
- Rub salt and pepper all over the tenderloin.
- Sear the meat on all sides until browned, about 4 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, mix together butter and garlic, then spread the mixture over the meat.
- Place the pan in the oven and cook for 20 minutes or until a thermometer reads at least 125 degrees F for medium rare.
- Cover the meat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve, garnished with parsley if desired.
