Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce/sriracha or sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 1 none green onion or chives, finely chopped (optional)

Vegetable Relish

  • 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into thin matchsticks
  • 1 none English/seedless cucumber, cut into thin matchsticks
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon coarse, kosher salt

Sweet and Spicy Hoisin Sauce

  • cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the creamy sauce by whisking together all its ingredients.
  2. Make the vegetable relish by mixing the vegetables in a bowl and combining the sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, and salt, then pouring over the vegetables.
