Instructions
- Prepare the grill for medium-high heat and oil the grate.
- In a medium bowl, combine the carrots and cucumber with salt and let sit to release liquid.
- After 15 minutes, pour off excess liquid and add radishes, jalapeño, rice vinegar, and sugar; toss to combine.
- In a large bowl, mix ground pork, shallot, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, five-spice powder, salt, and sugar, then form into 8 patties.
- Grill the patties for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through until cooked through.
- Spread mayonnaise on the rolls and assemble the sandwiches with patties, pickled vegetables, and cilantro.
