Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, minced garlic, and chili garlic sauce in a bowl and set aside.
- Tenderize the flank steak using a meat tenderizer until it is about ½ inch thick.
- Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
- Turn on the Instant Pot's sauté function and add olive oil.
- Sear the flank steak for 2 minutes, then turn off the Instant Pot.
- Add the sauce to the beef and mix well, then cover the Instant Pot.
- Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes and then quick release the pressure.
- Add the broccoli to the pot, cover, and set the timer to 0 minutes.
- Quick release the pressure again once it beeps.
- Remove the beef and broccoli, leaving the sauce in the pot, and whisk in the cornstarch.
- Return the beef and broccoli to the pot and mix to coat with the sauce.
