Instructions
- 1. Turn on the Sauté setting of the Instant Pot and cook the ground beef until mostly done, removing excess fat.
- 2. Add the diced onion, salt, and pepper, cooking until softened.
- 3. Stir in the garlic, bell pepper, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and beef broth, scraping the bottom of the pot.
- 4. Add the tomato paste and ketchup on top without stirring.
- 5. Lock the lid and set the steam release knob to Sealing. Cancel Sauté and select Pressure Cook for 4 minutes on high pressure.
- 6. After cooking, let the pot sit for 5 minutes, then manually release the remaining steam.
- 7. Open the lid, stir the mixture to incorporate the tomato paste and ketchup, and adjust salt if needed.
- 8. Serve the mixture on soft hamburger buns.
