Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare a baking dish with the halved green bell peppers, cut side up.
- Season the top sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over high heat, spray with cooking spray, and sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steak and let it rest, then spray the skillet again and sauté the mushrooms until browned.
- Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until tender.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and mozzarella cheese, mixing well.
- Stuff the bell pepper halves with the steak mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
