Ingredients

The meat and vegetables

  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

The sauce and toppings

  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan reggiano cheese
  • 4-5 slices provolone cheese

Seasoning

  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the sirloin steak in a skillet over medium-high heat, seasoning with steak seasoning, salt, and pepper for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the green peppers, onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are soft and the meat is no longer pink.
  4. Drain any excess fat from the skillet to avoid a soupy casserole.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese, cooking until melted.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, parmesan cheese, and heavy cream.
  7. Spray a baking dish with oil, pour in the steak mixture, and drizzle the egg mixture on top.
  8. Top with provolone cheese slices.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
