Ingredients

The base

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 medium bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt

The topping

  • 6-8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with a pinch of salt over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
  3. Drain the fat, then add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the cream cheese, heavy cream, and salt until combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 baking dish and top with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is brown and bubbly.
