Shrimp Red Pepper Cream Cheese Empanadas

McCormick's Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add garlic and red peppers, cooking until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and season with Montreal Chicken Seasoning, cooking until shrimp turns bright pink.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the shrimp mixture, then add cream cheese and half of the mozzarella and Pepperjack cheese, stirring until melted.
- Lay empanada wrappers on a flat surface and brush the edges with water to soften.
- Fill each empanada with the shrimp mixture and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Close the empanadas by pinching the edges and rolling the sides inward.
- Place empanadas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and brush melted butter over the top before allowing to cool.
