English Muffin Toasting Bread

Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and yeast in a mixing bowl.
- Grease an 8.5x4.5 inch bread pan and sprinkle with cornmeal.
- Heat the milk, water, and olive oil in a saucepan to about 110-115 degrees F.
- Add the warm liquid mixture to the flour mixture and beat on high for 1 minute.
- Spread the sticky dough into the prepared pan and cover it.
- Let the dough rise in a warm area for 45-60 minutes until it rises about 1/4 inch above the pan.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F while the dough is rising.
- Bake the bread for 22-26 minutes until golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 5 minutes, then turn it out onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Slice the bread into 1/2 inch slices when ready to serve.
