Taco Stuffed Bell Peppers

bell peppers, cut in half with tops cut off and seeds removed

Instructions
- If using rice, cook it and have it ready.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the ground beef and onion to brown.
- Mix the taco seasoning and prepare the peppers while the beef is cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Once the beef is browned, add the taco seasoning and green chilies, mixing well.
- If using, add the rice and mix everything together.
- Place the bell peppers on a baking sheet and fill them with the beef mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the peppers are cooked to your liking.
- Serve with optional toppings like salsa, tomatoes, olives, avocado, and cilantro.
