Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 pound pasta

The sauce

  • 1 jar tomato sauce

The cream

  • 2 cups cashews
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)
  • to taste herbs and salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions and drain it.
  2. In a blender, combine the cashews, water, garlic, and salt, and blend until smooth.
  3. Reserve half of the cashew cream in the fridge for later use.
  4. Add the remaining cashew cream to the pasta pot and stir until creamy.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs, and serve with your choice of meat or vegetables.
