Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions.
- 2. In a pan over medium-high heat, heat the oil and add the onions and garlic, sautéing until slightly browned.
- 3. Lower the heat to medium and stir in the tomato sauce, nutritional yeast, cashew cream, and sea salt, mixing well.
- 4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine, cooking for about 3 minutes to allow the pasta to absorb the sauce.
- 5. Taste and adjust salt if necessary, then serve garnished with basil if desired.
