Ingredients

  • 14 ounces canned chickpeas
  • cup peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas, then dry them by massaging with kitchen towels to remove the skins.
  2. In a food processor, blend the chickpeas with peanut butter, maple syrup, salt, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats and blend again until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and serve.
