Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground sirloin, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, crushed red pepper, salt, pepper, olive oil, and egg until just mixed.
- Coat your hands with olive oil and roll the mixture into 2-tablespoon size balls, making about 10-12 meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in the baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until crisp on the outside but not fully cooked inside.
- Add mozzarella cheese to the meatballs and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- For a giant meatball, shape the mixture into an oval and bake for 35-45 minutes, adding cheese in the last 10 minutes.
- Serve the meatballs with pasta and marinara sauce.
