Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Shape dough into balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on baking sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip cookies halfway in the melted white chocolate and place on wax paper.
- Sprinkle with additional cinnamon-sugar mixture if desired and let set until chocolate hardens.
