Instructions
- Preheat the oven to broil and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place the tomatillos and crushed garlic on the baking sheet and broil for about 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Peel the garlic after broiling.
- In a food processor, combine the charred tomatillos, garlic, ground chiles, cumin, lime zest, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Process until smooth, then adjust seasoning with Tabasco sauce and additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
