Ingredients

The filling

  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • cup heavy cream
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • tsp chili powder
  • a pinch cayenne

The shells and topping

  • 15 mini phyllo (fillo) shells
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and heavy cream together in a microwave or double boiler, stirring occasionally.
  2. Mix in the ground cinnamon, chili powder, and cayenne until well combined.
  3. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the chocolate mixture into each mini phyllo cup.
  4. Refrigerate or serve immediately, and top each cup with a dollop of whipped cream just before serving.
