Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Press the tofu to remove moisture for about 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the peanut sauce by whisking together the peanut butter, tamari, chili garlic sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Cut the pressed tofu into ¾-inch cubes and marinate with tamari, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, and maple syrup for 2-3 minutes.
- Coat the marinated tofu in cornstarch until fully covered.
- Spread the coated tofu on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the baked tofu and peanut sauce, and sauté for about 2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve with rice or cauliflower rice if desired.
