Ingredients

The dough

  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 1 box Simple Mills artisan bread mix
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

The vegetables

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 3 tbsp chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Mix ground flaxseed with water and set aside to thicken.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bread mix, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add the water, olive oil, and flax mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped spinach and chives.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 23 minutes and serve warm.
