Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the coconut oil and chocolate together in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Whisk in the sugar and eggs until well combined.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and cornstarch, mixing until smooth.
- Transfer the brownie batter to the lined pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- While the brownies cool, heat treat the flour by baking it for 15 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract, then fold in the cooled flour.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and spread the cookie dough over the cooled brownies.
- Chill for 10 minutes before slicing into pieces.
