Double Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil or palm shortening or salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pulse ½ cup chocolate chips in a food processor until they resemble coarse sand.
  2. Add coconut flour, salt, and baking soda to the processor and pulse until combined.
  3. Incorporate eggs, maple syrup, grapeseed oil, and vanilla into the mixture and blend well.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and remaining chocolate chips on top of the batter.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
