The main ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 25.25 oz jar DeLallo marinara sauce
  • 16 oz DeLallo gnocchi
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

Seasoning

  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • cup chopped basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add minced garlic, cooking for 2 minutes.
  2. Add marinara sauce and gnocchi directly from the package, separating any that are stuck together. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the mixture for about 5 to 6 minutes until the gnocchi are soft and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  4. Place slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the gnocchi and preheat the broiler.
  5. Once the broiler is hot, place the skillet under it until the cheese melts, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
