Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add minced garlic, cooking for 2 minutes.
- Add marinara sauce and gnocchi directly from the package, separating any that are stuck together. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the mixture for about 5 to 6 minutes until the gnocchi are soft and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Place slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the gnocchi and preheat the broiler.
- Once the broiler is hot, place the skillet under it until the cheese melts, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
