Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a donut pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the maple syrup, pumpkin puree, yogurt, and chocolate chips to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, smoothing the tops with a spoon.
- Bake for 15 minutes until fluffy and golden brown, checking with a toothpick.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- For the coatings, mix the sugar and pumpkin pie spice together, or melt the chocolate chips with pumpkin and salt for the sauce.
