Ingredients

The meat mixture

  • 450 g minced beef and/or lamb
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 4 sprigs mint, chopped

The spices

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • a pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Use your hands or a large spoon to mix the meat, onion, herbs, and spices thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into desired forms and cook as preferred.
