Instructions
- Prepare a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, blend garbanzo beans, almonds, powdered peanut butter, coconut flour, honey or agave, and dates until smooth.
- Press the mixture into the loaf pan and refrigerate.
- For the caramel, blend dates, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth and thick.
- Spread the caramel over the base layer in the loaf pan and sprinkle with peanuts.
- Refrigerate the layered mixture again.
- For the chocolate coating, melt coconut oil if needed and mix with cocoa powder, protein powders, sweetener, and salt.
- Add milk and vanilla, then gradually mix in water until the consistency is thick but spreadable.
- Remove the refrigerated base/caramel, slice into pieces, and coat with the chocolate mixture.
- Place the coated pieces on a wire rack or parchment paper and refrigerate until hardened.
