Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and water to the mixture and mix until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Dust a kitchen towel with flour and roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Place filling along the long edge of the dough and roll it tightly using the towel.
  7. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
  8. Place the strudels seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool completely on the baking sheet.
