Homemade Toaster Strudel

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thaw the puff pastry and cut each sheet into 6 equal rectangles.
- Whisk together the jam and cornstarch, then spread over half of the rectangles, leaving edges uncovered.
- Whisk the egg with water and brush the edges of the rectangles with the egg mixture.
- Layer the second puff pastry rectangle over the jam-coated ones and press the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with the egg mixture and bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
- Cool slightly and prepare the icing by whisking together all icing ingredients until well blended.
- Drizzle the icing over the cooled strudels.
