Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (233°C) and allow the cream cheese to soften.
- Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs, egg yolk, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and Matcha powder until smooth.
- Strain the batter through a fine-mesh sieve to remove lumps and air bubbles.
- Pour the batter into a lined 6-inch round cake pan and bake for 30 minutes until the top is caramelized and dark brown.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 2 to 3 hours until it reaches room temperature.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
