Instructions
- Steam the cubed tempeh for 10 minutes using a steamer basket or a metal colander over simmering water.
- In a medium bowl, combine the steamed tempeh with soy sauce, nutritional yeast, olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a half sheet pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes, then stir the tempeh.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until golden.
