Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté chopped onion, green bell pepper, garlic, and celery until tender.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, cayenne pepper, Cajun seasoning, and bay leaf; bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- Make a slurry with flour and water, then stir into the tomato mixture and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and add to the mixture along with Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce; stir well.
- Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until shrimp is opaque and cooked through, adjusting salt if needed.
- Add chopped scallion and parsley before serving.
