Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 ½ lbs raw boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into small bite-sized pieces

The marinade

  • 1 - 1 ½ cups pickle juice (the leftover brine from a pickle jar)

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

The cooking oil

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces in pickle juice for 6-8 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Drain the chicken and let it sit to remove excess pickle juice.
  3. Mix the seasoning ingredients in a small dish.
  4. Coat the drained chicken pieces with the seasoning mix in a bowl.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook the chicken pieces in batches for 6-8 minutes until cooked through and golden.
