Cheesy Guacamole Tostada

flour tortillas or corn tortillas (taco size)

shredded cheddar cheese
The guacamole

fresh lime juice

minced red onion

finely chopped cilantro leaves

ripe tomato (seeds and pulp removed, chopped)

shredded cheese (for garnish, if desired)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Spray both sides of the tortillas with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.
- Poke holes in the tortillas with a fork to prevent puffing.
- Bake the tortillas on a baking sheet for 4-5 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the tortillas and sprinkle cheese evenly on top, then bake until melted (about 2 minutes).
- To make the guacamole, mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in lime juice, red onion, cilantro, and tomato.
- Season the guacamole with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the guacamole on the tostadas and top with additional cheese if desired.
- Serve immediately.
